Waterproof Leather
When footwear is labeled waterproof, Timberland does two things to ensure dry feet. First, they use premium waterproof leathers with waterproof impregnated properties that become part of the leather during the tanning process. Secondly, they seam seal the footwear or use an internal waterproof and breathable membrane to help your feet stay dry when it's wet outside.
Smart Comfort™ System
Timberland® footwear with the Smart Comfort® system delivers durable comfort. Shock-absorbing construction of the chassis, midsole and outsole reduces shock to eliminate leg and foot fatigue. And a zoned force distribution footbed spreads impact shock, creating a pressure-free zone, whether you're walking or standing.

An internal Gore-Tex® membrane is built into the boot or shoe to create a waterproof and breathable barrier.
